Dear Wildrose Alliance Party member,

The Wildrose Alliance Party will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Policy Assembly in Calgary Friday June 5th and Saturday 6th, 2009.

We received a large number of submissions for proposed policies. Some were excluded as they fell outside of Provincial jurisdiction.  The “Proposed Policy” booklet is an all inclusive submission. The second booklet is individual submissions for changes to our current constitution and policy set. 

Due to the volume we ask that you review it fully before the AGM. If possible please remember to bring it with you. We will have spare copies on hand, but your effort in this regard will help us keep costs down.

This year we are pleased to welcome a couple of wonderful speakers on both days.  Not all guest speakers have confirmed yet so please check our website for further updates.  Friday is intended to be for Registration, meet and greet of Party members and the Guest Speakers. They will be addressing different topics concerning Albertans ranging from the economy to healthcare to education and justice. Saturday will concern the business of the Party, including a Status Report, Constitutional and Policy proposal and the election of the Executive and closing with the keynote address.

Due to the AGM being held over two days your registration fee includes dinner on Friday evening and both lunch and dinner on the Saturday.  Coffee and snacks will be available throughout Saturday.
